Viral-to-Earn

Updated: 21st Apr 2025

Creators on RuBaRu should be rewarded for the quality of content they share, taking into account its virality and engagement.

Each post earns Credits based on likes, comments, shares, and bookmarks. Every interaction type is assigned a specific weight based on the value it provides, and the total reward is calculated by multiplying each interaction type's weight with its respective count on that post

Explanation of Engagement Types & Weights:

  • LW = 0.5 (Likes Weight : Low effort, low value)

  • CW = 1.0 (Comments Weight : More thoughtful, higher value)

  • SW = 2.0 (Shares Weight : Strong signal of value, high reach)

  • BW = 1.5 (Bookmarks Weight : Indicates lasting value or intent to revisit)

  • L = Number of Likes

  • C = Number of Comments

  • S = Number of Shares

  • B = Number of Bookmarks

RewardCredits=(L×LW)+(C×CW)+(S×SW)+(B×BW)Reward Credits = (L × LW) + (C × CW) + (S × SW) + (B × BW)RewardCredits=(L×LW)+(C×CW)+(S×SW)+(B×BW)

Example Calculation:

If a post gets:

  • 100 Likes

  • 10 Shares

  • 15 Bookmarks

Reward Credits = (100 × 0.5) + (20 × 1.0) + (10 × 2.0) + (15 × 1.5) = 50 + 20 + 20 + 22.5 = 112.5 Credits
